I am me and you are you
An array of shapes, a variety of hues
Sitting together at Life’s pews.
The skin layer of my identity:
Swiss missus in cowboy country
Full surround sound eccentricity!
Deep down I clown around,
Though my nature is slow as the blazes
In digesting any existential phases.
I love my Pookie,
He is a cat;
In my next life I shall be just that.
I have many names
– Given ones, invented fames
Or borrowed from my ancestors’ lanes.
I have my doubts and limitations
The occasional meltdown and frustrations
And a rainbow of creations.
With me you will find it usually to be
All in, flat out,
Or dilly dallying about.
