Fire in a cup
Soon I shall rise
Naked and ablaze

Until then I play dead,
Gaze to the sky
Waiting for the flaming chariot
To rain sparks in my eye

One by one, ghostly arms let go
Old broken records out of spin
I fan my newfound colors
Around a tiger’s skin
